A Legacy of Life & Movement : Forever Young
Jonathan embodied the phrase “Forever Young” through his infectious smile & enthusiasm for life. He was always in motion - from dirt-bike riding, to skiing, to mountain biking in North Park, or playing catch with his brother, he did everything with extreme enthusiasm and athleticism. He expected a lot of himself - both physically & academically. He was fueled by positivity & encouragement from coaches, friends, those he looked up to. Most recently, in his 9th grade year at Pine-Richland High School, his passion became football. He worked tirelessly on improving skills & physical fitness.
Jonathan loved his family fiercely. He had a huge kind heart. Thus, this loss is felt deeply in the community. In the spirit of this young man’s energy and kindness we would like to provide a scholarship in his honor to a Pine-Richland athlete. Specifically, through 2024, 2025 & 2026, we’d like to honor a football player who Jonathan would have been playing alongside in his Sophomore, Junior & Senior year. The Jonathan Forever Young Run will use all proceeds from the 5k race fundraiser to honor Jonathan’s legacy with a scholarship for a PRHS athlete. We hope you’ll consider running or donating to honor his life.
